This Dancer's 4-H fair project for the Health area. This is the first project that she has done completely on her own with no input from us. Well, except "no you are not using all that expensive card stock, go get some construction paper."
Part of the judging process is the project and the other part is an interview where they ask tons of detailed questions to see if the kid really knows what the project is about or did they just slap some information together. One of the tricks we have found to having a good judging process is to know way more info than what is on your poster or project. That and I think through homeschooling Dancer has learned to talk well with all ages of people so she usually does a good job with the interview.
