After dark Nikki started barking like she does when the garbage truck comes to steal our garbage. It was a throw her head back and bark that got me to come running because she wasn't even looking outside.
She also growled....
and snarled....
and snipped.....
and yapped.....
and yapped.....
until even her ears flipped back. What was she alerting us to and protecting us from?
A scary party favor.
Now there is a vicious dog. I am so glad that you are protected by the ferocious Nikki. That party favor was just about to get you. ;)
