I always add a 1/2 cup of wa...I love making those! I always add a 1/2 cup of water to make it less thick.. since my hand mixer isn't the highest caliber! :-) Also, I've added 1/4 cup of egg beaters and it doesn't really change things much, except added protein. I love using spice cake mix too.. yum!
