Back to School Painting

Our co-op  meets in the basement of an old school and it was painted a nice sterile institutional blue.  Given the okay to repaint, we all got together tackled the job.

Spark and Dancer love to paint so they grabbed a paint brush and jumped right in to help.

After several hours of painting and cleaning it is ready for a new year.    It matches the color in our bathroom and someone else said it matched their living room so we should all feel at home there.  Now if we just felt ready for school to start.  Not happening yet.  Not even a little.

Hey, your Spark looks a lot like a Spark that helped me carry flags up a winding staircase at that same location. Thanks, Spark. We never even hit the walls with the pointy flagpoles. Or the stained glass windows! We make a great team!

Spark was telling me about that adventure and he thought it was great fun getting those flags past the stained glass windows. Exspecially since "we didn't even break one!" Thank goodness!

I start my last year homeschooling on Monday. I don't know if I am ready but here we are. When I had all of my kids in school (before they grew up) we had the nicest co-op of great kids. It was always such a nice thing to do. Have fun with this school year.
