Mexican Hash

No picture of the Mexican Hash because it looked like hot dish on its own and just a tortilla when ready to serve.  That's not to say it wasn't good though.  Dancer, who doesn't normally eat hamburger, said that it was really good and that she would pay money for it at a restaurant - now that is saying something!

Mexican Hash

1 1/2 pounds hamburger
1 medium onion chopped
2 cans of 14 oz. chopped tomatoes or an equal amount of fresh
1 medium green pepper chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
basil, garlic and oregano
1 cup of rice

Start the rice, add two cups of water to one cup rice.  Brown hamburger, onion, green pepper.  Add raisins, tomatoes and rice.  Season with salt and amounts of basil, garlic and oregano you like.  Cook until hot.  Serve on tortillas with cheese, sour cream and shredded lettuce.
