Dad's Birthday

We celebrated with lunch out at Space Aliens with Grandma and Grandpa.

Dad played some games with the kids.

The tickets were just shooting out of the machines.  I played one game and won one ticket, par for the course.

Dancer has a whole handful.

Dad and Grandma.  I have never thought that Dad looked like his mom, but in this picture I see a little resemblance.

Mom and Dad.

Spark choosing what his prize will be.  This is the longest part of the whole trip as he has to look everything over.

Choosing a prize is why I don't like arcades. I love to go to play the games, but the prizes offered are always such junk. It doesn't help that I've seen some of the prizes in the Oriental Trading catalog, so I know how much they are worth compared to how much was spent to win them.

At least it is a good lesson in economics. The last prize Sierra used her tickets for broke before we got home, and we only live about ten minutes' drive from that particular arcade!

Happy Birthday to your husband!

Peace and Laughter,
Cristina
