The low lying area of our swamp, where we grow our squash, melons and gourds, had frost the other night. Since all the plants were dead, we picked what was ripe and salvageable. Two things that were still okay were two watermelons. On a whim, since we had the dehydrator going, Dad sliced up a watermelon, picked out the seeds and put them in to dry. Although they don't look the greatest they sure are tasty.
