The kids made these cute little tin can turkeys this evening. Here are the directions if you would like to try them for yourself. http://crafts.kaboose.com/tin-can-turkey.html The kids used construction paper instead of felt like the directions called for. Not sure why the pattern even calls for felt. Seems rather extravagant to wrap felt around a can that was saved from the recycle bin.
This is our dog Nikki. Every week for her Sunday dinner she gets a can of dog food instead of the dry, crunchy, boring kind out of the bag. Since she is a dog, this little ritual seems to be one of the highlights of her week.As an aside, at church today I notice that so many people are bringing travel mugs of coffee into the service. What does this say about our pastor's sermons?!
