The kids joined Awana for the first time this year. When they start, at least for Spark's age, they have to complete a Start Zone pamplet and then they get their first book and earn the t-shirt. Last week was the first week and Spark worked really hard at learning the memory verses, there were nine, and tonight he was able to say them all and got his t-shirt and book. He came out of his class so excited! When we got home he put it on for a picture and then right away called Dad at work to tell him the good news. Way to go Spark, we are proud of you!
